Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 27, 2026

The short version: the calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your numbers are never sent to us or to advertisers. The site shows Google ads, which use cookies, and counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't.

This policy covers Compoundfolio, the investment growth calculator at compoundfolio.com (the "site"), operated from Puerto Rico.

1. The numbers you enter

Everything you type into the calculator (contributions, salary, returns, fund choices and similar values) is processed on your own device. It is not sent to us or to any server.

To remember your inputs between visits, the site saves them in your browser's local storage. That copy stays on your device. You can erase it at any time with the "Reset all inputs to defaults" button on the calculator or by clearing your browser's site data.

2. Share links

If you use the share feature, your inputs are packed into the link itself, after the "#" sign. Browsers don't send that part of a link to the website's server, so we never receive it. Anyone you give the link to can see the numbers in it, so share it only with people you choose.

3. Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare may automatically log technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver and secure the site. We don't use those logs to identify you. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for how Cloudflare handles that data.

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Advertising. The site shows ads served by Google AdSense, which helps keep the calculator free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, through a consent message provided by Google. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy link that message adds to the page.

Analytics. To see which pages people visit, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views, referring sites, countries and device types in aggregate. It doesn't use cookies or local storage, doesn't fingerprint your device, and doesn't track you across sites.

What we don't do. We don't sell your personal information, and the numbers you enter in the calculator are never shared with advertisers or analytics providers. The site doesn't use affiliate links.

5. Children's privacy

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

6. Not financial advice

The calculator is for education and estimates only. Results depend on the assumptions shown and are not a guarantee of future returns or a recommendation to buy or sell any investment. Consider talking with a licensed financial professional before making decisions.

7. Changes to this policy
